    Hi Aaron.

    Yes, I was very close to this beaver, maybe about 7-9 feet away. I have seen him/her off and on for the past two weeks or so and although it ran into it's cubby hole when I first showed up yesterday, after about a minute it decided I posed no threat and came out in the rain.
