Welcome
Welcome to my photoblog. I try to keep it updated daily with a new photo from either my personal or professional life. It is not intended to be taken as my professional portfolio (please visit the main website for that), but instead it is more of an informal and fun way for me to share some of my personality and creativity with you. Many of the photos on my blog are available for purchase as fine art prints, please visit the main website and/or contact me if you are interested. Enjoy!

Hi I am from DPS. My name is Jai. Anyway snow photography is always a tricky one but looks like a very clean shot. Where is that fence?

DeleteThanks for the comment. Snow can be a bit of a pain sometimes, it tends to trick the camera and make it think that it should be properly exposed by making everything a light gray. When shooting something like this with lots of snow in it I will usually overexpose the scene by at least 2/3 EV. In this case that still was not enough (it was a cloudy day) and I still had to adjust the levels in post.
The fence is here in Ottawa by the Ottawa River near the bike path.
Cheers!
